Update of the week !
Hello, collectors!
Now that the app is out, you can expect twice as many changelogs from now on 😂
The big new feature, which went live last night and has been fully functional since this morning, is **guides**! The guidebooks obviously :)
This is something I've wanted to do for a long time (ever since MGL v2, for those who've been around since the early days), and I'm pretty proud to have finally managed to integrate it. Not because it was particularly complicated, but because when things are properly set up from the start, everything comes together much faster. The foundations are solid 😊
The database is gradually filling up, but don't hesitate to request a guide if you'd like to see one added!
The second new feature is the ability to **sign up and log in using your Google account**!
This one is a little different. I simply hadn't thought of it 😶 and it was a friend who brought it up during a completely random conversation. He asked if it was possible because, if an app doesn't offer that option... well, he just won't sign up. #Lazy
Another thing I wanted to mention is a major update to the workflow for those who scan barcodes and request **a new country-specific edition**. You can now pre-register the item in your collection when submitting your request, and as soon as we approve it, **the item is automatically added to your collection without you having to go back and add it yourself**! A real time-saver for everyone!
On another note, I've received quite a bit of feedback about the app, and once again, I'm pretty happy with the results. Apart from a few very minor bugs, **everything is working perfectly** 🤩!

New Features

- Game guides are now linked to the relevant games and displayed on their game pages.
- Sign up and log in using your Google account.
- [English content] News articles are now displayed in English based on your profile language.
- [App] Display of wishlist count, average price, friends who own the game, and information indicating whether an item is a game, accessory, guide, etc.
- [App] Redesigned the layout of the "More" menu and the options available in the profile.
- When a request is rejected, the reason is now explained (a bit more user-friendly :)).
- If you're playing a game, this is now also displayed on that game's page.
Improvements
- [App] The "Now Playing" section looks a little better in the app.
- [App] Photo filenames are now displayed in full.
- [Website] Improved the website's interface to bring it closer to the app's design.
- Improved the workflow for barcode scanning.
- Improved the workflow for edition requests.
Bug Fixes
- [App only] Fixed a bug that caused notifications to redirect to the wrong photos.
- [App only] Being tagged in the forum now takes you directly to the relevant message.
